  1. Thanks for the list hun . There are a few bands im not keen on because i never got into them after listening to their music so didnt buy their albums and thats why i cant give an opinion .
A very few i havent llistened to yet so no comments.
As a fan of some of the bands listed here i can say imo that although they have a place on the top 50 there are albums that i think are better that the ones they mention on the list for example like Maiden i liked more Dance of death and BNW and In flames although i enjoyed the albums ive got (not all :B...yet) albums i prefer Reroute to remain and i absolutely love A Sense of purpose and Slayer- i dont own all albums yet but i suppose Christ Illusion is ok , i enjoy listening to the album but also i do love some from God hates us all like bloodline - u might think its over rated but i cant stop listening to it - my bad habits . I think also its about taste . I learned to listen to new talents thanks to u mate . My ears are always open to other bands .

    Good job Stu :)

  2. Never understood the point in top 50, top 20 etc etc, as everyone is an individual, so everyones top whatever is going to be different.

Enjoying your musings so far Stu, keep it up.

  3. I totally agree Blodhemn. They are always going to be subjective by their very nature. The only way that this would carry any weight at all would be if it was voted for by the readership, but even then people have short memories, and will often just vote for their favourite bands, regardless of whether a particular album was deserving of the vote. This means that there will always be bias.
